Cardinal Legislative Salary Increase Tool NOW OPEN

The Virginia General Assembly recently authorized a salary increase effective June 10, 2025. For more information about the salary increase and eligibility requirements, refer to the DHRM FY26 Authorizations and Compensation Activities memo.

All agencies must take action in the Cardinal Legislative Salary Increase Tool by Tuesday, June 3, 7:59 p.m., to either review and confirm salary increases or opt out.

Access the Cardinal Legislative Salary Increase Tool. Perform an initial review of salary increases and address any system blocks identified.

First Data Refresh: Scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

CRITICAL DEADLINE: Complete all necessary HR transactions in Cardinal before Tuesday, June 3, 8:00 p.m.

  • Changes entered after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, will not remove or add system blocks.
  • Salary changes entered after this deadline will cause increases to fail during the load process.
