FY26 Legislative Salary Increase

VALIDATE LEGISLATIVE SALARY INCREASES

Legislative Salary Increases were centrally processed on Saturday, June 7. Agencies must now validate these increases and address any errors or system blocks.

Immediate Action Needed:

  1. Review the Legislative Salary Increase Tool (Workforce Administration > Job Information > Legislative Salary Increase > Legislative Salary Inc Review).
  2. Check for "Errors Only" and "System Block Only" by selecting the respective checkboxes and clicking "Populate Grid."

If Errors or System Blocks Exist:

Manually add the pay increase in Cardinal for affected employees.

  • Effective Date: June 10, 2025
  • Action: Pay Rate Change
  • Action Reason: FY26 June Statewide Increase
  • Update State Compensation Amount.

Keying Deadline:

Agencies MUST manually enter pay increases that errored out (failed to load) by Friday, June 20, to ensure they are reflected in the July 1 paychecks.

Changes keyed after Tuesday, June 3, will neither remove nor add system blocks. Salary changes entered after this date will cause increases to fail during load!
