The new implementation schedule for the Cardinal HCM Project has been approved by the Project Sponsors and reviewed with the Cardinal HCM Steering Committee. The deployment remains in two phases, with Release 1 go-live in October 2021 and Release 2 go-live in April 2022.

With the new release timeframes, Release 1 agency and locality tasks will resume this week while Release 2 agencies will be re-engaged later this month.

The standards for a successful Cardinal HCM implementation are exceptionally high. By rescheduling the deployment, the project team was able to execute mitigation strategies for challenges faced during deployment preparation. The Project team looks forward to working with agencies and localities to bring Cardinal HCM to the Commonwealth this fall.
